I Ching Hexagram 36 : 明夷 Ming I / Darkening of the Light

As the sun dips below the horizon, darkness envelops the land. The hexagram's name, "Bright Wounding," speaks to the theme of injury that permeates its individual lines. Here, a person of dubious character holds power and inflicts harm upon the wise and capable.
